'sprong

'Sprong has curved  and flat tines mounted over two long springs to the body of the instrument.  The springs pass over a magnetic pickup which acts as standard pickup amplifying the sounds of the springs and also (similarly to a piezo pickup) amplifying the sounds communicated through the body of the instrument.
