Sprawl

Sprawl is a garage door spring whose sound radiates through a handsaw blade.  The blade is amplified by a six inch strip of piezo film and bent to alter the pitches generated by the spring which is stroked or struck by a variety of sticks ranging from threaded rod to rubber hose.
