Wheelywheely

The single string is .059 music wire. The neck is 36 x 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x3/16 angle bar with nut and bridge of 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 3/16 angle bar. The tuner is a drilled 3/8 bolt set in a tapped hole in the neck. The string is sounded by felt on velcro glued to a 10 in pulley whose V groove is filled with a cut belt, or by paddles cut from blinds mounted on another pulley. The pulley is mounted on a 3/4 shaft supported by two pillow blocks and turned by a cank made from a 5 in pulley with a 6 x 3/8 bolt attached to it. The frets, which are used for visual reference rather than contact with the string, are 1 x 1 x 1/8 anglebar. The string is stopped with a U-shaped slide of 7/16 rod. It is amplified by one coil of a DiMarzio humbucker.
