Pilon
The bells are from 16 oz propane tanks with the adapters removed. Steel and neoprene fender washers are locknutted to a 3/8 bolt sandwiching the hole. The free end of the bolt mounts the bells to 1/4 inch angle iron. The tanks were cut below the seam and eight chromatic tones, Bflat to F, were obtained. They are played with 3/4 in dowels capped with automobile heater hose.
