The neck is 2 1/2 x 1/2 x 3/16 channel iron, paralleled by another section of channel iron that provides the track for four pedalled frets. The headstock is 3 x 1/2 inch plate with six guitar tuning machines. The six acoustic guitar strings are tuned in octave pairs, sometimes D A D, sometimes E Bflat D, sometimes E A D, etc. The frets are used in a variety of positions. The bridge and nut are 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 1/8 angle bar. It is played with a pair of 1/4 dowels capped with surgical tubing. It is amplified by one coil of a humbucker suspended over the strings.
