Lamellop

The body is half of a twenty pound propane tank cut at 45 degrees and the soundboard is 1/8 sheet with slots cut out to allow the tails of the tines to extend into the resonator The tines are 1/2 inch bandsaw blades cushioned above and below with gasket cork on bridges of tapped 3/4 x 3/4 x 3/16 angle bar with retaining bars of 1/2 x 1/4 barstock tightened by 1/4 bolts. The bridge carriage is mounted on four automotive valve springs and the bridges do not touch the soundboard. It is amplified by a pair of piezo transducers compressed to bridge carriage by 1/4 inch steel plates lined with heavy weatherstripping felt and 1/4 inch bolts .
